Stretch It Out (March 31 + April)
Stretch It Out (March 31 + April)
Does your dancing feel constrained? Are you looking for more space or time within the dance to add variations? Your Lindy Hop might just need a bit more stretch! In this session, we will focus on techniques for both leaders and followers to introduce more elasticity into their dancing. The goal is to create a “rubber band” like connection between partners that makes the dance more efficient and cohesive. We’ll focus on forward swing-outs, as well as classic moves from Frankie Manning—one of the originators of the dance—who pioneered some of the techniques and movements we’ll explore.
